ST. LOUIS (CN) - Wal-Mart wants Texas-based PDX to reimburse it for part of an undisclosed settlement with the parents of a child born with spina bifida after the mother took Tegretol during pregnancy. Wal-Mart claims its pharmacies merely passed along the package insert they received from PDX, which allegedly failed to warn about the link between spina bifida and the prescription drug's active ingredient, carbamazepine.
Wal-Mart is represented in St. Louis County Court by Stefan Glynias with Lashly & Baer P.C.
