The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled against the director of the Minnesota Voters Alliance, who sought information on all of the state’s voters, including voter status and the reasons for challenges to voter registration. While an appeals court had ruled in favor of the director, the Supreme Court ruled the state’s Data Practices Act restricts certain information in the voter registration system. 

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled against the director of the Minnesota Voters Alliance, who sought information on all of the state’s voters, including voter status and the reasons for challenges to voter registration.
