The New Virginia Majority Education Fund, et al. sued the Fairfax County Board of Elections in federal court for not allowing students who live in George Mason University dorms to register to vote because they did not include their dorm room numbers on their applications.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The New Virginia Majority Education Fund brought a federal complaint over the refusal of the Fairfax County Board of Elections to let students who live in George Mason University dorms register to vote because they did not include their dorm room numbers on their applications.
