LOS ANGELES (CN) – Vogue magazine is being defrauded by a man who is conning people into believing he is a Vogue writer or editor and can arrange prominent exposure of products in ads and articles, Conde Nast Publications claims in Federal Court. The publisher says it has repeatedly demanded that Paul Swanson knock it off, but he continues to convince potential advertisers to give him thousands of dollars and valuable merchandise, infringing on the Vogue mark and damaging the magazine’s reputation.
