This undated handout photo provided by Imperial College London shows a Covid-19 vaccine candidate. Scientists at Imperial College London will start immunizing people in Britain this week with their experimental coronavirus shot, becoming the latest entry into the race to find an effective vaccine. In a statement on Monday, June 15, 2020 the British government said that 300 healthy people will be immunized with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine candidate developed at Imperial College London, which has been backed by £41 million pounds ($51 million) in government funding. About a dozen vaccine candidates are in early stages of testing in thousands of people. (Imperial College London via AP)
