Virginia Court Of Appeals

CONTEMPT, ATTORNEYS - A judge believed that two attorneys and a law student purposely altered documents, so she held them in contempt for trying to perpetrate fraud in the court. The Virginia Court of Appeals found that convictions of contempt were improperly applied, and that each attorney was denied his or her right to due process.
