Violent firefighter

DALLAS (CN) — A Texas judge allows some of a homeless man’s civil rights claims to proceed against Dallas after its firefighter beat the man, kicking him several times while he was down, during an arrest on suspicion he’d started a grass fire. The victim adequately alleged that Dallas protects disciplined personnel and that this emboldened the firefighter to act so violently.
