Vile Allegations at Texas Day Care Center

(CN) - The mother of a young boy claims a worker at a daycare center in San Antonio "forced the children to perform sex acts on each other at knifepoint" after locking themselves into a bathroom. The employee also urinated on the kids and performed sex acts on them himself, the mother claims in Bexar County Court, Texas.

The mother says her son told her on Sept. 29, 2009 about being raped at Kool Kids Learning Center, almost 4 years after it happened. She claims that an employee named in the complaint as "Richard Roe" would "regularly take two or three children into a bathroom" at Kool Kids, and secure the door with a combination lock. "While in the bathroom, Richard Roe forced the children to perform sex acts on each other at knife point," according to the complaint says. "He also urinated on the children, exposed himself, and performed sexual acts on the children."

The mother claims her son was also "forced to watch Richard Roe lick female students all over their bodies. [He] was also made to watch a male classmate (a minor) perform oral sex on Richard Roe." [Parentheses in original.]

Roe allegedly threatened to kill her son if he spoke to anyone about the assaults, and cut her son's upper arm with a knife, which remains scarred.

The mother says there is sufficient evidence to prove that the staff at Kool Kids knew what was going on, but allowed Roe to be around children unsupervised. She demands compensation for her son's psychiatric care, as he still has nightmares and panic attacks, and punitive damages for Roe's assault and the daycare's negligence.
