ROANOKE, VA. (CN) - After Virginia Department of Corrections employee Benny Allen "digitally raped" a secretary at the Bland Correctional Center, Warden Larry Jarvis promised to discipline Allen, but instead he retaliated against the secretary for reporting the assault, and Jarvis and Allen defamed her by claiming that she "voluntarily submitted to the rape for and in exchange of monetary compensation from Allen," the woman claims in Federal Court. Represented by Hilary Johnson of Abingdon, she demands punitive damages.
