SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - A veteran of the war in Afghanistan claims the Department of Veteran Affairs had him wrongfully committed after misdiagnosing him as having bipolar disorder rather than post-traumatic stress syndrome, forcing him to get a court order to be released. He claims this misdiagnosis came after a 10-minute appointment, which came after a six-hour wait, and included other screw-ups, all part of the collapse of the VA health care system caused by the VA's wholesale mismanagement and lack of planning during today's wars. See complaint.
