Vargas Llosa Gets Nobel

(CN) - Peruvian novelist Mario Vargas Llosa today was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. The author of more than two dozen novels, Vargas Llosa, 74, is the first South American to win the Nobel Prize for Literature since Gabriel Garcia Marquez in 1982.
