Val Kilmer Sued for $128K by Consultancy

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Val Kilmer owes $128,400 for business plans provided to the actor from Executive Consulting, the Arizona-based firm claims in court.

Though the brief complaint does not specify that the named defendant, Val E. Kilmer V, is the same Kilmer who once played Batman, there are several tell-tale clues.

The complaint describes the defendant Kilmer as a resident of Malibu, and the Dallas Observer reported this year that the actor Kilmer moved to the ritzy L.A. community in 2012.

Various media outlets also previously reported on Kilmer's 2011 sale of his Santa Fe, N.M., ranch.

An earlier lawsuit that Executive Consulting filed against Kilmer was removed to Albuquerque Federal Court last year.

This past March, TMZ reported that Executive Consulting was allegedly hired to help with a $500,000 tax lien that the Internal Revenue Service filed against Kilmer.

Kilmer reportedly told the court at the time that he never hired the consultancy.
