Vaccine mandates

OKLAHOMA CITY — A federal court in Oklahoma denied Governor Kevin Stitt’s request for a preliminary injunction to block Covid-19 vaccine mandates for members of the Oklahoma National Guard and the Oklahoma Air National Guard. Judge Stephen Friot wrote that the court is required to decide the case based on federal law and not common sense, but “either way, the result would be the same.”

The judge noted that the virus has killed more Americans in less than two years than “have been killed in action in all of the wars the United States has ever fought.”
