ALEXANDRIA, La. — A federal court in Louisiana granted a preliminary injunction to the states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Indiana to block, in part, President Joe Biden’s executive order mandating vaccines for employees of federal contractors. The injunction applies to agreements or grants between the three states and the federal government, but does not extend to contracts between private contractors and the government.
The order comes on the heels of a nationwide injunction against the mandate issued in a federal court in Georgia last week.
