Vaccine mandates

LOS ANGELES — A federal court in California granted the city of Los Angeles’ request to dismiss a suit brought by 13 police officers challenging the city’s Covid-19 vaccination mandate. The plaintiffs say they have asked for religious exemptions, but they haven’t stated that their requests were or are likely to be denied, and they haven’t alleged that they have been passed over or will be passed over for promotion because of their refusal to be vaccinated.
