USA Accused Of Swiping Medicare Money

DALLAS (CN) - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services seizes money from Medicare and Medicaid service providers, under a "clandestine policy" that violates federal law and the Constitution, a federal class-action complaint claims on behalf of diagnostic testing facilities. HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt instituted the secret and illegal policy to recoup money he claims was overpaid to the plaintiffs. Also named as defendants are Trailblazer Health Enterprises and Tricenturion Inc. See complaint.
