WASHINGTON (CN) - President Obama has ordered the establishment of a White House Office of Urban Affairs to develop and coordinate urban policy across all departments and agencies of the government.
The office will be headed by a new Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Urban Affairs who will report jointly to the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison and the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy.
