UPS Protected Sexual Harasser, Woman Says

MINEOLA, N.Y. (CN) - A woman says the sexual harassment she endured from her boss at United Parcel Service included his window-peeping at her home, and that UPS refused to settle with her unless she agreed not to testify for another woman, who says the boss masturbated to orgasm in front of her.

Jenna Pettas claims UPS allowed co-defendant Howard Popeck to resign more than 18 months after she filed an EEOC complaint. She says she "attempted to settle the matter with UPS. However, she was not able to do so because UPS insisted that the settlement be contingent upon Pettas' not testifying in the action filed by [the other woman]."

She is represented in Nassau County Court by Leeds, Morelli & Brown of Carle Place, N.Y.
