BALTIMORE — A federal judge in Maryland ruled that five of six Baltimore police officers sued by a townhouse’s new tenants unconstitutionally arrested the occupants when they forced the tenants out of their home at gunpoint without a warrant. The cops had gone off a downstairs neighbor’s suspicion that the new occupants were behind burglaries in the area.
