Unreasonable arrest of schoolgirls

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (CN) — A Rhode Island federal judge allowed a schoolgirl’s excessive force and unreasonable seizure claims to proceed against the police officer who arrested her, as well as the girl she was fighting, for disorderly conduct more than an hour after their fight ended and their parents had arrived to take them home.
