University of Kentucky Fired Him| For Reporting Fraud, Auditor Says

LEXINGTON, KY. (CN) - The University of Kentucky and the director of its Internal Audit Department, Joseph Reed, fired an auditing manager and adjunct professor to retaliate for his reports of fraud, waste and mismanagement, Dan Ross claims in Fayette County Court. Ross says he found problems in UK checking accounts, in the Bucks For Brains-Research Challenge Trust Fund, in UK computer stores and auxiliary services stores, and in its Procurement Card, or ProCard, system, and he says he was fired for reporting it.
