NAPA, CALIF. (CN) - American Airlines falsely imprisoned more than 1,200 passengers on more than 100 grounded planes, some for more than 9 hours, on Dec. 29, 2006, without food, water, or toilets and in unbelievable stench, because the airline was too cheap to pay for food and lodging, and it never reimbursed them or apologized for this execrable treatment, according to a class-action complaint in Napa County Court.
