LAS VEGAS — A federal judge in Nevada issued a consent decree requiring sued apartments and property management firms to attend mandatory education and training about the Fair Housing Act and disability discrimination, and modify their properties, after they were sued by disabled citizens who were denied housing because they needed service animals.
