Uber v. Google

Finding that compiled due-diligence documents were not protected by attorney-client privilege, a California appeals court <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Uber-appeal.pdf">reversed</strong></a> a ruling allowing Uber to withhold them from discovery in a <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/waymo-uber-showdown-ends-in-surprise-mid-trial-settlement/"><strong>lawsuit</strong></a> accusing the ride-sharing company of stealing Google's technology.

SAN FRANCISCO — Finding that compiled due-diligence documents were not protected by attorney-client privilege, a California appeals court on Friday reversed a ruling allowing Uber to withhold them from discovery in a lawsuit accusing the ride-sharing company of stealing Google’s technology.
