SAN FRANCISCO – Uber agreed to a $4.4 million settlement with workers who say they were discriminated against based on their gender. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission found the company permitted a “culture of sexual harassment and retaliation against individuals who complained about such harassment.”
