U.S. GDP Grows |in Second Quarter

Real U.S. gross domestic product grew by an annual 2.8% during the second quarter of 2008, much larger than the 0.9% seen during the first quarter of the same year. The boost comes from a recent decrease in imports, increased government spending, and an increase in exports, among other things.
