U.S. Demands Costs Of 17,000-Acre Wildfire

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Uncle Sam claims negligence by Merco Construction Engineers and CB&I Constructors started the 17,000-acre Copper Wildfire in the Angeles National Forest in June 2002. It demands the costs of fighting the blaze and restoring the land, in Federal Court.
