Tycon Says BBC Posted Defamatory Comments

LAS VEGAS (CN) - The British Broadcasting Corp. damaged Tycon Energy Corp. by posting

defamatory statements on various Web site discussion boards, the company claims in Clark County Court.

In various posts, Tycon says an unknown person acting on behalf of the BBC posted comments in search of sources for a story about "share dealing scams."

Tycon is an oil and gas exploration company that buys drilling rights and manages production and sale of its own oil and natural gas reserves.
