(CN) - Two University of Maryland students were killed this morning in a murder-suicide and a third was injured, police said.
The shootings came around 1 a.m. about a block from the UM campus in College Park, Prince George's County police told The Washington Post.
One student set a fire in the basement of the house where the three students lived, and his roommates confronted him about it, the Post said, attributing it to police.
All three men went outside, where the man who set the fire shot one roommate to death and wounded the other. Then he went behind the house and killed himself, police said.
The killings came a day after a man shot and killed two women, and then himself, at the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington, Del.
