Two Men Sentenced for Prostituting Children

SAN DIEGO (CN) - Two San Diego County men on Monday were sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for prostituting children. Malcolm Jamal Allen, 20, of Oceanside, and Devon Leonte Sutton, 23, no home town given, both pleaded guilty this year.

Six co-defendants of Sutton have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. They are Adam Cassanova Anderson, 35; Leo Allen Sutton, 26; Michael David Washington, 22; Lindsey Clemmons, 22; Regta Inocencio Villareal, 32; and Deonte Marquis Lenin, 21.

The arrests and prosecutions were made by an 18-month, multi-agency gang task force.

Malcolm Jamal Allen, who called himself "King Show Time," pleaded guilty in August to sex trafficking of children by force, fraud and coercion.

Sutton pleaded guilty in September to "using a corrupt enterprise to conduct a pattern of racketeering activity, namely, prostitution of minors and adults, use of facilities of interstate commerce to promote prostitution, drug trafficking and other gang-related crimes," the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a statement.

Escondido and Oceanside police worked with the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement on what they called Operation Vice Grip.
