Upholding price-fixing fines for a cathode ray tube cartel, the European Court of Justice ordered Koninklijke Philips and LG Electronics on Thursday to pay more than $1 billion between them.

LUXEMBOURG - Upholding price-fixing fines for a cathode ray tube cartel, the European Court of Justice ordered Koninklijke Philips Electronics on Thursday to pay a $372.4 million and LG Electronics to pay $353.3 million. Both companies are also responsible jointly and severally for a $465.9 million fine.
