TV Stations Subpoenaed for Raw Footage

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (CN) - A Clay County grand jury issued subpoenas requiring Kansas City television stations to submit footage of interviews with friends and family of a missing 10-month-old girl.

The subpoenas were issued Monday afternoon to at least four stations, The Associated Press reported.

The stations reported on their websites that the Clay County prosecutor is seeking unedited footage of interviews with family, friends of the family and neighbors of Lisa Irwin.

It is not clear whether the stations will comply. The subpoenas ask the stations to submit the footage this month.

Lisa Irwin was reported missing around 4 a.m. on Oct. 4 after her father returned from work and found her missing from her crib.

She was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 3.

Her parents said someone broke in through her window and kidnapped her.

Police said they have no suspects, but neighbors told The Associated Press they have been questioned about a homeless man seen in the neighborhood.
