TV Anchor Alycia Lane Sues CBS

PHILADELPHIA (CN) - Alycia Lane sued CBS in state court, demanding depositions to challenge her firing as KYW-TV news anchorwoman after a highly publicized incident in which Lane allegedly smacked a New York City police officer and called the officer a "dyke." Lane saysshe did not smack the officer, did not make the statement, andCBS fired her before her 5-year contract ended in 2011 and before judgment in the pending criminal action was reached.
