A federal judge Tuesday dismissed two of three claims (negligence and aiding and abetting) in an amended class action accusing Intuit of using lax security systems in its TurboTax tax preparation software that allowed fraudsters to open fake accounts and file fraudulent state and federal returns in victims’ names.
