NEW YORK -- A federal judge denied former President Trump's motion to add a new rebuttal expert witness a year after the close of discovery in writer Jean Carroll's defamation suit stemming from statements he made in 2019 after she publicly accused him of sexual assault. Trial is imminent in this case, and granting the motion would unduly prejudice Ms. Carroll.
