An appeals court in New York vacated a nearly $50,000 arbitration award granted to President Donald Trump in a dispute with a former campaign staffer who claims she was discriminated against by her superiors at work.

NEW YORK – An appeals court in New York vacated a nearly $50,000 arbitration award granted to President Donald Trump in a dispute with a former campaign staffer who claims she was discriminated against by her superiors at work.

The campaign claimed the staffer violated a nondisclosure agreement, but the court found there is a “long-standing public policy in favor of a person’s right to make statements during the course of court proceedings without penalty.”
