Truck exploded while refueling

FRESNO — A federal court in California limited some expert testimony in a negligence and product liability action brought by a driver who was hurt when his commercial truck exploded during refueling. The compressed natural gas cylinder manufacturer may exclude the truck manufacturer’s expert’s testimony, according to which it cannot be ruled out that a leak in the tank caused the cylinder to rupture. The cylinder maker’s motion to limit expert testimony brought by the injured driver and the engine manufacturer, though, is denied.
