A federal court in California granted social video app Triller’s request to dismiss a copyright infringement suit brought against it by Wixen Music Publishing, finding that, without any clarification as to when the songs in question were created, it is not clear whether the Copyright Act of 1976 or the Copyright Act of 1909 applies.
