Trigger-Happy Cop Shot Him, Man Says

TULSA (CN) - A man says a Tulsa police officer shot him six times as he pulled into the driveway of his own home, where unbeknownst to him someone had reported a burglary. Martinez Owens says he was shot twice in the chest and twice in each arm as he tried to unbuckle his seat belt to comply with officers' commands to get out of his car.

Owens and his wife demand punitive damages from Officer D.J. Radanovich and the City of Tulsa. They are represented in Oklahoma County Court by Ed Abel.
