Township Sued After Man Kills Wife

CINCINNATI (CN) - A man being electronically monitored by court order murdered his wife because Hamilton Township did not alert her that he had left his house late at night, though it knew he had done so, the Estate of Michelle Dieterle claims in Federal Court. The Estate claims Ryan Dieterle was able to kill Michelle on June 28, 2006 because "the County did not warn Michelle Dieterle that Ryan Dieterle had left his residence in violation of the court order, nor did the County take any other measures to protect Michelle Dieterle."
