Toilet Leak Floods|Kentucky Courthouse

LEXINGTON, Ky. (CN) - A toilet leak flooded the Fayette County Courthouse in Lexington, Ky. this weekend, and it is expected to be closed all week.

The Administrative Office of the Court said it expects the building will be closed throughout the week.

The Lexington Herald-Leader said the leaking fourth-floor toilet was discovered late Sunday night, and that floors all the way down were covered with inches of water.

A judge told WKYT-TC that some of the ceilings were beginning to cave in.

The building is closed to the public, but employees are being asked to help in the cleanup, the Herald-Leader reported.

Circuit court hearings will be held in the Fayette County District Courthouse next door, or perhaps the nearby federal court building.

Lexington, pop. 300,000, is Kentucky's second-largest city, after Louisville.
