Tide Pods

A federal court in Indiana ruled in favor of Procter & Gamble in a product liability dispute brought by a man who claims he was burned by a partially dissolved Tide pod inside his sock. The court ruled that warnings on the product — instructing consumers to add the pods to the washing machine before clothes and to call poison control if the detergent gets on skin — are adequate.
