Three KMTP-TV Claims Survive Against FCC

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - A federal judge let stand three of nine claims in the Minority Television Project's claim against the FCC. The nonprofit operator of KMTP-TV challenged as unconstitutional the FCC ban on paid political ads, under 47 USC § 399B and 47 CFR § 73.621(e), and FCC restrictions on commercial ads. See ruling.
