Three Fans Say Kid Rock Beat Them

LOS ANGELES - Three fans say Kid Rock and his entourage beat them up after a Hollywood concert. The fans say they sought an autograph or photo of the rapper outside Teddy's Nightclub in 2006, but the rapper, whose given name is Robert Ritchie, and members of the rap group Boo Yaa Tribe, beat them, stole their cameras, autograph books and bags, and left them bleeding on the pavement.

Plaintiffs Michael Medlin, Carlos Bonilla and Jose Perez say the singer's posse threw their stuff into his limousine and drove off. They demand punitive damages, and also sued the nightclub, in Superior Court.

Richie has been arrested and charged with assault at least twice before, once for allegedly beating a man in a waffle house.
