SAN ANTONIO — William Oliver Towery, a former school district police officer from New Braunfels, Texas, was convicted of making threats against President Joe Biden, who was a candidate for office at the time. Towery sent a text saying he had been practicing his “sniping skills” in preparation for a campaign rally where Biden was set to appear.
