Threats

Carlos Bayon was properly convicted of leaving threatening voicemails at the offices of two members of the U.S. Congress, the Second Circuit ruled. The admission of 19 books discovered on his apartment on topics including bomb-making, explosives and circumventing security alarms was proper as his possession of them indicated his threat was genuine.

MANHATTAN — Carlos Bayon was properly convicted of leaving threatening voicemails at the offices of two members of the U.S. Congress, the Second Circuit ruled. The admission of 19 books discovered in his apartment on topics including bomb-making, explosives and circumventing security alarms was proper as his possession of them indicated his threat was genuine.
