BOSTON – T.J. Maxx consumers claim in a federal class action that they paid a premium for linens whose thread counts were roughly triple inflated based on the counting of the plies making up the threads rather than the threads themselves.

Named as defendants to the complaint are the TJX Companies Inc.; AQ Textiles LLC and Creative Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd.
