Thieves in Law

Gafur-Arslanbek Akhemdovich Rakhimov, a Russian citizen who lives in Dubai, claims in a <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Thieves-in-Law.pdf">federal complaint</a></strong> that the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control falsely claims he provides material support to the Thieves in Law, a “purported transnational criminal organization,” and froze his U.S. assets.

WASHINGTON — Gafur-Arslanbek Akhemdovich Rakhimov, a Russian citizen who lives in Dubai, claims in a federal complaint that the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control falsely claims he provides material support to the Thieves in Law, a “purported transnational criminal organization,” and froze his U.S. assets.
