There’s Money to Be Made in Typos

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (CN) - Verizon sued an Indian company and the two men who run it out of Mumbai, claiming Lead Networks Domains Private Ltd. registered 240 Web domain names similar to Verizon's, such as Vaerizon.com, Verionwieless.com and Verisonphones.com, in violation of trademark. Verizon demands $100,000, punitive damages and ownership of the Web sites, in Federal Court.

Verizon is represented by Charles Molster III with Winston & Strawn of Washington, D.C.
