The Old Yogurt Container on a Skunk Routine

SAN BERNARDINO (CN) - A woman sued her apartment complex for personal injuries, claiming she was "tak(ing) a yogurt container off the head of a wild skunk when suddenly and without warning [she] slipped and tripped on a sunken grate," injuring herself.

Nancy Melton sued the Brar & Gill Corp. (sic) dba Sunrise Apartments, in Superior Court. Melton, a tenant, says she was in a common area of the apartment complex when the skunk incident happened.

She says the apartment complex allowed slippery leaves and debris to accumulate on the grate. She seeks damages for negligence and medical expenses. She is represented by Jeff Grotke.
